What’s ON the Horizon for you?
When was the last time you enjoyed a difficult conversation?
Most people do not look forward to challenging or potentially unpleasant conversations. They are one of the most stressful things in our lives. So our tendency is to delay or avoid these conversations, causing problem to worsen, misunderstandings to deepen, and progress to stall.
I’m Colton Seale and I spent 22 years as an FBI Special Agent talking to terrorists, bad guys, victims and witnesses around the world. I have had some of the most difficult conversations imaginable, from board rooms to Pakistani prisons.
In every situation I found rapport to be the key ingredient to making difficult conversations work. But what really is rapport?
To answer this, I worked with an international team of researchers to revolutionize our understanding of rapport and what makes and breaks it.
With my BASE Model of Rapport™ I provide you the essential elements of building and maintaining rapport in any situation, so you can approach even the most stressful conversations with confidence and adeptly manage uncertainty and unpredictability across your organization.
Let’s change the dynamic
